About Ramona Marin

Ramona Marin is a Registered Clinical Social Worker and has graduated with a Master of Social Work from University of Toronto. Having been in the counselling field for over 18 years, she is experienced in providing psychotherapy to a diversified population struggling with multiple mental health disorders.

Ramona is certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Holographic Memory Resolution (HMR), and Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT). Ramona Marin is specialized in treating trauma. She has successfully treated numerous individuals who struggled with: complex and developmental trauma, post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), dissociative disorders, war trauma, critical incidents, including car accidents, child sexual trauma, domestic and sexual abuse, psychosomatic disorders, personality disorders, chronic pain, etc,. In addition, Ramona Marin has successfully treated clients who have struggled with depression, diverse anxiety disorders, phobias, panic disorders, eating disorders, body dysmorphic disorders, self esteem issues, etc.

Ramona Marin has a keen interest in helping people to heal quickly and believes in therapeutic methods that address in depth the interconnection of mind, body, and spirit, as a the key elements in healing mental health disorders. Drawing upon her training and experience, Ramona is able to customize each client’s therapeutic needs in order to stabilize and heal psychologically and emotionally, as well as develop a healthy self-esteem, and form healthy relationships.

Some of the therapeutic methods Ramona Marin uses include EMDR therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Ego State Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Interpersonal Therapy and Holographic Memory Resolution (HMR).
